Athens

3rd International Conference
for CBM in Aerospace

19 - 21 May 2026

About

After the success of the first two editions of the International Conference for Condition-Based Maintenance in Aerospace (ICCBMA), held in Delft, Netherlands, and Paris, France, we are delighted to announce the third edition. This in-person event will take place in Athens, Greece, hosted by the University of Patras, from 19–21 May 2026. The ICCBMA conference is entirely dedicated to Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) in the aerospace domain.

CBM is a cutting-edge integrated technology that has been the focus of intense research and rapid development, becoming a highly debated interdisciplinary field in both academia and industry. However, existing forums often address only parts of the CBM chain, are not specifically oriented toward aerospace, or are commercially driven. This highlights the need for a dedicated conference to bring together practitioners and researchers to discuss, advance, and promote the development of the complete CBM chain for the aerospace industry.

ICCBMA aims to provide an international platform for academics, researchers, industry professionals, managers, and students to share their latest findings in areas such as Prognostics & Health Management, Structural Health Monitoring and Condition Monitoring, Reliability and Safety Engineering, Data Science and Computing, and Maintenance Planning and Practice.

By bringing together leading academic and industrial experts alongside promising young researchers, the conference seeks to foster a collaborative atmosphere that encourages in-depth scientific and technical discussions in relatively small group settings.

In addition to its technical program, the conference will feature social events, technical demonstrations, and presentations on key issues and applications. These activities are expected to stimulate the creation of new networks and shared opportunities, driving the advancement of CBM in the aerospace sector.
