  • There are some technical forums, there many ‘academic’ conferences on some of the topics, but there is no platform to link education and research with practice covering the full CBM scope in aviation

  • There is an opportunity to build upon the network and results of EU flagship projects and Clean Aviation

  • CBM is an important element in the transition towards sustainable aviation, reducing waste amongst others

  • It’s a multi-dimensional research and application domain, with several disciplines involved in the study and implementation of solutions for Aerospace (aviation and space)

  • Durable CBM acceptance and deployment will depend on highly trained people that can understand and drive future developments
